Exercise is more than just a way to stay fit, it’s a powerful tool to support your mental wellbeing. Regular exercise can help improve mood, sleep and quality of life while easing symptoms of anxiety and depression.

The best way to start is by doing what you enjoy. It could be resistance training, running, cycling, team sports or even a brisk walk. Aim for 30 minutes a day on most days of the week and remember that even small amounts of exercise can make a difference.

If motivation, confidence or uncertainty is holding you back, you don’t have to do it alone. Accredited exercise professionals such as Exercise Scientists and Exercise Physiologists can design a personalised, evidence-based exercise plan to help you get started and stay on track.

This Movember, start moving more for your mental health.

BODYSYSTEM

We believe that physiotherapy goes beyond the treatment room.

BODYSYSTEM was founded by Kellie Wilkie in 2001 with Fiona Hamilton joining the leadership team in 2014. Since that time the core value of maintaining a healthy and happy team has remained unchanged, which Kellie and Fiona both believe will deliver the highest quality services to our clients and referrers.

Our physiotherapists and exercise physiologists complete thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans which lead to self-management. This may include a combination of manual therapy, education and exercise.

As part of our comprehensive approach, we have developed several small group physiotherapy and exercise physiology programs held at our Rehab Studio, that target specific rehabilitation aims. Our casting and bracing service is provided by specially trained physiotherapists.
