Another one of our favourite things on here is Leek! Kahny always will out at least 4 leeks in the trolley when we do the shoppingโ€ฆobsessed ๐Ÿ˜‚ but these are just cooked up in a frying pan with butter and garlic until they soften and start to brown! So dam good ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ

One of our favourite ways to use Bone Broth is to cook veggies up in it and put it on steak!

Here we cooked up in a pan:
Butter and garlic. Added leek and cooked it until it was brown. Added enoki mushrooms. Added a grasped spoon of bone broth, dash of water, crack of pepperโ€ฆ. Ready and delicious โœ…

Weekend treat recipe โœ…โœ…

Protein Pancakes (GF) ๐Ÿฅž

Ingredients:
3 eggs
2/3 Cup milk of your choice
1 scoop lokako collagen powder
1 1/2 cups of gf flour or almond meal

Butter
Berries
Maple syrup

Method:
Whisk eggs and milk together until combined.
Add flour and protein and whisk until combined. If itโ€™s too thick add more milk.

Heat a bit of butter in a small saucepan. Add pancake mix and cook until golden brown on both sides.
Should make about 6 pancakes. Add berries and maple on top to serve.

You hear this way too often when talking about nutrition. Want to know the truth??

The truth is carbs are essential to anyone training or who has a physically demanding job.

There are no bad macros. No good macros. They are all good. You just need to adjust which ones you have the most of depending on what your lifestyle is like.

If I am training hard everyday my body needs protein and carbs for fuel and to recover.

If Iโ€™m not training and I sit at a desk all day, I donโ€™t really need as many carbs. So I would mainly eat fresh lean food.

As always, it depends. Everyoneโ€™s lifestyle is different, everyoneโ€™s bodies are different and everyoneโ€™s goals are different.

This is why you need a coach, to help you learn what fuel your body needs โœ…

Your telling yourself how hard your life can be sometimes and how your over worked.
