Pharmacy Assistant Position available.
We are looking for someone to work every Friday 10.30 to 6pm and alternate Saturdays 9-12 noon. Availabilty for further hours to fill-in for staff leave is desirable. Pharmacy experience is an advantage but not necessary. Drivers licence needed. If you would like to work in a friendly small pharmacy, drop resume into Rhys Jones Pharmacy ,13 Bayfield St. Rosny.

Kuala Lumpur ➡️ Oatlands.

Meet Gavithra Sivabalan, who left Kuala Lumpur for Tasmania to pursue her dream of becoming a pharmacist.

In her final year, she was sent to Oatlands, a town with only 683 people, a stark contrast from her city life...

“I had never been in a rural area before in my life!” Gavithra said. “It wasn’t a planned thing for me, I just wanted to try something new.”

Gavithra embraced Oatlands, and the locals embraced her. They gifted her fresh produce and shared travel tips. She even attended the annual Heritage and Bullock Festival, bonding with everyone she met during her three weeks.

“There’s a severe shortage of pharmacists in rural areas at the moment,” said Gavithra.

“It’s a special feeling to work somewhere that you’re really needed and wanted.”
