🌟 Disability Expo 2026 🌟
Yesterday Etty Support Services had the pleasure of attending the Disability Expo. It was an amazing opportunity to meet participants, families, support coordinators, and other service providers in our community.
Thank you to everyone who visited our stand, spun the wheel, collected our information packs, and took the time to learn more about our services. We truly enjoyed connecting with so many wonderful people.

A new report has found some participants in the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) are being targeted by NDIS providers' deceptive advertising practices and other behaviours banned by consumer law.

Working with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) and the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, we've identified worrying trends - including providers charging for essential support products that weren't supplied, and falsely claiming their products or services are "NDIS approved" or "eligible for NDIS funding" when they're not.

This behaviour is completely unacceptable and we will continue to work with taskforce agencies to protect NDIS participants, educate and hold providers that continue to do the wrong thing accountable.
