Meet Jane: A Testament to Quality Care. At Support My Way, we believe in showcasing the real, positive impact we have on our clients' lives. Too often, disability service providers advertise their services without showing the quality of care they provide. Today, we want to share Jane's story as a testament to the exceptional care we offer, Jane has consented to us sharing her story.
Jane is one of our cherished residents living in our vibrant Modbury Cluster Site. She shares this beautiful community with four others, where friendships blossom, and everyone feels connected. Jane loves her cats, Jack and Tiger Lily, and she’s known for her jovial nature and loves to have a chat! Jane never forgets a birthday and makes sure to sing a loud and cheerful "Happy Birthday" to each resident and support team member on their special day.
Before joining Support My Way, Jane experienced neglect with her previous provider, living in squalor like conditions with unmet support needs. Her transition to our care has been transformative. Jane now enjoys living in her own unit and the ability to utilise her funded shared SIL support model, allowing her to receive the care she needs while maintaining her independence. She takes great pride in her home, ensuring everything is kept just the way she likes it. Our Modbury Cluster Site is more than just a place to live; it’s a thriving community where clients are matched correctly. If any support coordinators are interested in visiting our site, meeting our residents, and seeing firsthand what a successful cluster site looks like, please reach out to us. We’d be delighted to show you the positive impact quality care can make.
