Yesterday I was honoured to be chosen to help a family farewell their much loved sister, sister-in-law and Aunt.

When I met the family, they said she was bright and bubbly. The moment I walked into the chapel and saw the coffin they had chosen, I knew her loving tributes were going to be special.

As a counsellor, death doula and end of life consultant I am passionate about educating people on death and dying. To enhance this, I decided the next step was to train as a funeral celebrant.

When it comes to saying goodbye, I can assist you in planning the perfect ceremony to honor their life by creating and delivering a farewell true to them. It may be traditional; it may be simple, and intimate; it may be outdoors in a favorite location, a beach or park; it may be full of laughter and joy.
