Outstanding talent on display at State Titles, highlighting the strength of boys’ netball across Victoria — and the incredible pathway developing in the west through Elmer.

U17 Elmer athlete Jackson pictured here preparing to hit the court, representing the exciting talent coming through the region.

The U/17 Elmer Boys team are a fantastic example of the emerging talent in the region. John has been working alongside the group to help prepare them to hit the court and, just as importantly, stay on the court through strong injury prevention and athlete support.

A great opportunity for these athletes to showcase their skills and experience a fast, physical and exciting style of game. The future of boys’ netball in Victoria is looking very bright. 👏🏐

Great to see the netball community working together at State Titles! 💜

Congratulations to Sapphire, who was out umpiring at State Titles for the Murray Region. Always helpful when your dad is the Head of Medical for Elmer, making sure the bodies are looked after and ready to keep performing.

And of course, Charlie making the most of a rest break between her games with Elmer, showing the great spirit of the netball community.

Athletes, officials, medical staff and supporters all working together to get the job done – and done well.

👏 Well done everyone.

Teamwork makes the dream work 💪

It was a huge long weekend at State Titles Netball, with John volunteering his time to support over 50 Elmer Region athletes competing across U15, U17 Boys, U17 Girls, and Open Women.

From preparing athletes’ bodies to take the court, to supporting the umpire cohort for their B Badge testing, John worked tirelessly over three busy days to ensure both athletes and officials were physically and mentally ready to perform. He also led all strength and conditioning for these athletes in preparation for the three-day event, starting all the way back in November. He assisted athletes from other regions with strapping and injury support, helping keep players safely on the court.

Every great operator needs a right-hand woman. A big thank you to Bonez, who was alongside John all weekend, and to Alana, assisting with athletes and making sure everyone who needed support received it.

A massive effort from all three behind the scenes, helping these talented athletes perform at their best.

👏 Well done John, Bonez, and Alana!

🌸 International Women’s Day 🌸

This weekend we celebrate International Women’s Day, recognising the strength, leadership, and impact of women in our communities. At Injuries West, we are proud to support and celebrate women everyday.

A special congratulations to these two outstanding young leaders, Sapphire and Jayda, who continue to lead by example both on and off the court. Through their commitment to netball, mentoring others, and supporting young athletes and umpires, they represent the next generation of strong women supporting women in sport.

The future of women’s sport is bright with leaders like these.

💜 Keep inspiring. Keep leading. Keep supporting each other.
