Welcoming the New Year with Gratitude ✨
As we step into 2026, we are filled with so much gratitude for the year gone by and excitement for the possibilities ahead. This time of year is always a gentle reminder of new beginnings, fresh starts, and the joy of growth — both for our community and for our team.
As 2025 came to a close, we found ourselves moving through a season of change at Willow, saying some heartfelt goodbyes to a few of our deeply loved team members.
In November, we farewelled Fina as she stepped into an exciting new career path for 2026. December then had us squeezing Bec, Emily, and Brianna one last time before they each set off on beautiful new adventures of their own. Saying goodbye is never easy at Willow — we choose our team, our family, with so much intention. Watching them leave the nest always brings a tear to our eyes, as it truly feels like losing a part of our family.
🍃 Our dearest Acupuncturist, Bec, is beginning her very own business this year. We are beyond excited for her as she takes this huge and courageous leap in her career, and we truly wish her all the very best on the journey ahead. We feel incredibly grateful to have been part of Bec’s early days as an Acupuncturist — it really is like watching a baby bird fly the nest. We are so proud of her, and of course, so sad to see her go.
🍃 Towards the end of the year, Brianna was offered a dance scholarship in Goa, India — an opportunity she simply could not refuse. As a passionate dancer, traveller, and lover of exploring all that this big wide world has to offer, this next chapter feels perfectly aligned for her. While saying goodbye to Bri was bittersweet, our hearts are full knowing the adventures she is about to embark on. And who knows… perhaps winter will have her flying back to the Willow tree once more...
🍃 And our dear Emily is now stepping into one of life’s most sacred transitions — preparing to welcome her beautiful new baby into the world. She is taking some much-needed time to rest and nest into her own space with her family ahead of this new arrival. We are so grateful to have had Emily as part of the Willow family and wish her and her sweet family all the love and magic for this incredible journey ahead.
Even as we say goodbye to some beloved team members, Willow remains a place of care, calm, and connection. Our wonderful team continues to provide the treatments you love, and we’re excited to embrace the new energy and growth that 2026 will bring to our space and community.
We’re in the process of calling in new practitioners to join the Willow family — therapists who align with our values, our approach to wellbeing, and the heart of this space. If you are a practitioner looking for a warm, supportive, and mindful community to grow your practice, we would love to hear from you — please reach out and connect with us.
As we move through this season, we’re reminded that change is the only constant in the ever-evolving cycle of life. This time of year holds such potent energy for new beginnings, fresh starts, and transformation — especially as we move toward the upcoming Chinese New Year, guiding us from the Year of the Snake, a time of shedding and release, into the Year of the Horse, symbolising action, momentum, and positive forward movement.
With all of this in mind, we truly believe beautiful things are ahead for everyone at Willow. Thank you, as always, for your patience, understanding, and continued support as we grow, evolve, and welcome the next chapter — together. 🌻✨
