Our Long Reef Golf Club clinic participants enjoyed time on the range last week, building skills and socialising in a supportive environment, joined by volunteer Diandra from one of our valued partners, UBS.

Eight champions were crowned across a range of categories at the 2026 Vic Inclusive Championship, held at Sandhurst Club in Melbourne.
Contested over 36 holes across two days (March 16-17), the event featured winners in newly introduced sport classes at state championships, ensuring equitable competition across different impairment categories.

Empower Golf is proud to partner with Soldier On to bring inclusive golf clinics to Gardiners Run Golf Course in Melbourne, led by coach James Briggs.
Soldier On is a not‑for‑profit organisation providing holistic support that empowers current and former Australian Defence Force personnel to build meaningful, connected civilian lives.
Through our clinics, participants can experience the mental and physical benefits of golf in a supportive environment, while reconnecting with community and discovering what’s possible on the course.

Proud to be kicking off Empower Golf clinics at one of our newest partner clubs, Goonawarra Golf Club.
We caught up with coach Clare Anderson to chat all things golf and what’s ahead for our upcoming clinics.
If you’re in the Sunbury region of Victoria, join us for our next session on Thursday 12 March — with clinics running every second Thursday of the month.
A welcoming space, great coaching, and a chance to discover what’s possible on the course.

We welcome Tom Telfer to Empower Golf! As NSW Manager, Tom is a golf aficionado with a passion for community work. Seeing firsthand the impact and difference that Empower Golf makes gave Tom the ambition to be a part of the organisation, and we are excited to have him on board. "Golf already has that inclusive spirit built into it, and being part of Empower Golf is about helping take that inclusivity even further so more people can experience everything the game has to offer."
When he's not on the course, you can find Tom in the gym, playing guitar or volunteering at the PCYC City of Sydney supporting the local boxing team.
