Christmas countdown. 1 week until Christmas.
In a season that often feels rushed and full of expectations, choosing not to be stressed is an act of kindness—to yourself and to others. It’s okay if everything isn’t done, if plans change, or if traditions look different this year.

For some, Christmas can be difficult. Not everyone experiences the season with joy and ease, and that reality deserves understanding and compassion.

Taking Christmas one moment at a time, letting go of comparison, and allowing space for all emotions can make the season gentler. Sometimes the most important part of Christmas isn’t what’s under the tree, but the grace we give ourselves and the care we show to others.

Is your agenda to let your baby set the pace? This information may help you prepare for these conversations.
Get • Declining a medical recommendation can feel really scary… but practicing a script and having a prepared strategy can help you feel more confident in advocating for yourself:

1. Take a robust support person
2. Be sure of what you will be advocating for during your appointment
3. Practice a phrase that will communicate your desires clearly eg: ‘I don’t want an induction so we are going to have to come up with another plan
4. Episode 143 of the great birth rebellion podcast
5. Don’t just say ‘no’ have a plan for what you want to do next… choose an alternative, more preferred option to the thing you declined eg: I don’t want an induction but I am happy to have a repeat ultrasound

Life Naturally is a wellness centre predominately for women seeking pre-conception, fertility, pregnancy and post-natal support.

I enable women who may otherwise struggle through these important life stages to have a safe space for nurturing and healing and preparing their mind and body for pregnancy, birth and mothering. Pregnancy massage, acupuncture and HypnoBirthing can prepare the mind and body for positive birth and mothering.
