Teamwork at home 🏡

Kelly has been working hard to help maintain her home in her ILO, teaming up with her support worker Morgan to get the cleaning done.

Together they focused on working efficiently and quickly, making sure tasks were completed before Kelly became too tired. Kelly did a great job vacuuming and helping with the housework, showing how teamwork and the right support can make daily tasks more manageable.

Moments like this are a great example of building independence while making sure supports are tailored to what works best for each person.

Creative skills in action! 🔥🪵

Bastiaan recently spent some time working on his wood burning and woodworking, creating some really cool designs.

Using a wood burning tool, Bastiaan carefully etched his drawings into the timber, bringing his ideas to life piece by piece. It takes patience, focus, and a steady hand and he did an awesome job.

It’s always great seeing people explore their creativity and try new skills, and Bastiaan’s pieces are looking fantastic already.

We can’t wait to see what he creates next!

Strikes, snacks and lots of laughs! 🎳

Karley recently enjoyed a great day out with her support worker Kerry. The afternoon kicked off with a bite to eat before heading over for a few games of bowling.

Karley was all smiles, bringing plenty of energy to the lanes and showing off her bowling skills. Outings like these are such a great way to get out into the community, have some fun, and spend time doing the things you enjoy.

It’s always lovely seeing moments like these — good company, good food, and a little friendly competition!

🚆 Travel Training Win for Sam!

The other day Sam had a fantastic moment during her travel training, building confidence catching the train into the city.

Sam took the lead on the journey, confidently guiding the way and showing great awareness of where she was going. It was wonderful to see her take charge and really own the experience.

On the way home, Sam didn’t even need to use her map, she was already remembering each stop and telling everyone which one was coming next. Such a great step forward in building independence and confidence using public transport.

Travel training is such an important skill, helping people develop confidence navigating the community and increasing their independence. Sam is doing an amazing job! 🌟

Our Ipswich group programs are returning in 2026 and we are now accepting referrals. 🎉

Our programs are designed to support participants to build friendships, enjoy community outings, and take part in fun activities in a supportive group environment.

Program inclusions:
🍕Lunch included
🚗 Capped kms for transport
🚕 Pick up and drop off available

Our groups operate at a 1:3 support ratio, meaning the program costs approximately $23 per hour per participant, making it a cost-effective option while still ensuring everyone receives the support they need.

The first group program commences on 9th of April 2026 from 9am - 3pm.
