Friday and Saturday were a wonderful success for the Aussie Angels team. A heartfelt thank you to Nash, Elke and Falicity for the amazing work they did representing Aussie Angels Nursing & Disability Services.

We were truly grateful to meet so many members of the community who stopped by our booth to connect, learn about our services and share their stories. Our team loved meeting so many wonderful people and building new relationships within the community.

A special thank you to Elke, who offered free blood pressure checks across the weekend β€” a service that was greatly appreciated by many Expo visitors.

Supported Independent Living (SIL) is an NDIS support designed to help people with disabilities live as independently as possible while receiving the assistance they need in their home.

SIL provides daily support with tasks such as:

βœ” Cooking and meal preparation
βœ” Household tasks
βœ” Building life skills
βœ” Managing routines
βœ” Social and community participation

Support can be provided in shared accommodation or individual living arrangements, depending on the participant’s needs and goals.
