Can you believe it's only 6 weeks before we close for Christmas?

The countdown has truly begun!

It's time to check your script supply and expiry - do you have enough medication to get you through the Christmas season?

Do you have upcoming specialist appointments? Is your referral current? Last-minute appointments are increasingly hard to find at this time of year.

Are you travelling OS? Do you need travel vaccines before you leave? Don't leave it to the last minute, plan ahead and don't forget to ask for your updated vaccination statement.

Is your Drivers Licence needing renewal in Nov/Dec or early Jan? Schedule those appointments now so you don't get caught out during the Christmas Blitz!

And the kids. The kids will soon overwhelm us and the schedule goes out the window. What do they need? Look at that now, before they're climbing the walls and eating every last snack before lunch.

🌟 U14 Nationals Wrap-Up 🌟

What an incredible week it has been for our Ipswich Rise Physio & Health Force U14 Boys and Girls at Nationals! 💚💛

🏀 Boys – Fought hard through their pool games, narrowly missing the top 8 by just 5 points in a three-way tie. They regrouped with determination and pushed on to finish 12th in the country – an outstanding achievement and a true reflection of their grit and resilience. 👏

🏀 Girls – Battled through a tough week and showcased their growth and spirit, finishing with a Silver Medal in the Shield Division! 🥈 Their teamwork and effort across the tournament was outstanding, and they proudly represented Ipswich on the national stage. 🌟

A huge thank you to our coaches, referees, managers, families, and supporters who made this journey possible. The experience, growth, and memories from Nationals will last a lifetime. 💚

Qualifying for Nationals is kind of a big deal! Our U14G1 team had a successful experience last year and this year BOTH the boys and girls U14 first teams are headed to Perth to play against the best in the country 🤩🏀🏀

It's a big basketball weekend - again!

If you're renovating the yard and need some last-minute supplies, Angie will be hanging out at that big green shed at Bundamba, serving sausages and smiles, raising funds for the Ipswich Force U12G 2&3 teams. Stop and say hello and grab a snag to satisfy your mid-morning hunger 😁

This afternoon we're hanging out at IBA to celebrate the 2025 NBL1 season.

And tomorrow, we're playing ball at Buderim 🏀🏀

To our friends and family, we apologise for never taking it to the parties, our kids are living their best lives and we're their designated drivers!

What a wild ride it is at WRM these last few weeks!

Our wonderful nurse Stef is back from maternity leave, you'll see her popping in and out of the RACFs each Friday morning, checking in with the residents.

Our beautiful Chloe is completing her FINAL practical placement at Greenslopes 3 days a week! You'll see her at the rooms most Wednesdays and Fridays till completion in late November.

Next Monday, we welcome Amy to the fold as the new face of the reception team. Amy spent the day with us last Wednesday and we will see her again this Wednesday before her official start date next Monday!

And today we welcome 4th year Med student, Tyler, he will be with us for several weeks, completing his GP placement. He tends to think he's interested in pursuing anaesthetics, lets show him that GP-land is where true happiness resides.

If you're looking for Adam or Angie, we're topping up the coffee reserves, driving the kids halfway around SEQ, watching hours of basketball and generally holding it all together.

Tomorrow marks 6 years of this dream coming to life and each day we reflect on how incredibly lucky we are to share this experience with our extraordinary WRM Community 🤩
