“All we can give another person is information.” – William Glasser

This simple yet powerful idea reminds us that we cannot control others — we can only share information, perspectives, and choices. What another person does with that information is up to them.

When we focus on providing clear, respectful information rather than trying to force change, we create space for people to reflect, choose, and grow. Real and lasting change happens when individuals decide for themselves.

In our work, our relationships, and our everyday conversations, this principle invites us to communicate with patience, curiosity, and respect.

✨ What information are you sharing today that might help someone make a better choice?

🌏 WGI International Conference
Gold Coast, Australia
📅 2–4 October 2026

Pre-Conference Workshop:
Beyond Choice: An Integrative Map of Human Healing and Choice Theory

Presenters: Lynn Sumida, Jeff Brown and Leslie Brown

Choice Theory has long provided practitioners with a powerful roadmap for understanding and influencing human behaviour. Today, however, clients are seeking more than cognitive insight — they are seeking genuine, lasting healing.

In this thought-provoking three-hour workshop, we explore a critical dimension often missing from traditional Choice Theory practice: the role of the nervous system in determining whether a person can truly access growth, choice, and change.

While Choice Theory helps individuals clarify what they want and why, many clients remain stuck due to protective physiological and psychological patterns shaped by past experiences and unprocessed emotions.

🔹 Understand why insight alone is sometimes not enough
🔹 Learn how protection states impact choice and behaviour
🔹 Expand your therapeutic toolkit for deeper transformation

Join us on the beautiful Gold Coast and be part of the evolving conversation.
