Sixteen years ago today I started my career as a massage therapist. I first studied in 2001, and had volunteered for years at the day respite centre massaging disabled people and their carers, but the 4th of Sept 2009 was the day I started on the very first day Ipswich Massage Centre opened on Lawrence Street in North Ipswich. A surprising number of you I still see from all the way back then. Even though my business is growing and expanding I still love massaging all these years later. Here's to many more!

I just gave someone a beautiful cupping therapy treatment this morning to help her get over the last of her flu that's still dragging itself out four weeks later. After applying essential oils I spent the hour heating and lightly reapplying the cups. She stopped coughing almost immediately and by the time she left after her son had been treated as well it had turned productive. 10/10. I am very pleased. Would this be something that would also help you?

A big herby day in the clinic. Half of Ipswich is apparently still sick. Today among clients with other conditions I saw a client with a stubborn sinus infection that has so far lasted six weeks and two rounds of antibiotics. Let's see how things look next week, between the herbs I blended and the digestive enzyme containing tablets I prescribed to break up the mucous. I hope you are doing well! If you aren't doing well, you do know that you know a naturopath, right?
