What a fantastic PINK event it was last Friday at Club Parkview for their Breast Cancer Charity Luncheon. This was the club's first ever charity luncheon and we are so grateful it was in support of the Foundation 🎀🤩

It was a wonderful turn out with an incredible $3,800 raised to support breast cancer care in our region. Thanks to everyone for your generous contributions!

"16 July 2024 is a date that I will always remember as the date that changed my life and flipped my family's lives upside down. This was the date I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had just turned 30."

Breast cancer checks and screening is so important for women of all ages! Just like young mum Allanah, nobody thinks it's going to affect their life or the life of a loved one, until it does. Detecting breast cancer in its early stages gives you the best chance of effective treatment.

If you haven't already, the time is NOW to self-examine and book in for a mammogram 💗

As we continue on through Go Pink month this October, it is important to remember these statistics and how crucial it is to stay on top of your breast screening for early cancer detection.

Over half of cancers detected by screening programs are very small, allowing for more treatment options and better survival outcomes. Don't wait, do your checks today!

A huge thank you to Ipswich RSL Sub Branch Inc who kindly donated a heap of fantastic children's activity packs to the Foundation. These fun-filled packs are being distributed to hospitals across our region. Your generosity will bring happiness and smiles to many children during their hospital stay 😊

We had an awesome time today at the Laidley Hospital health awareness event, 'Utes & Boots' 👢🤠

It was such a fun day engaging with the local community, with chicken and toad races, raffles, a ute competition and delicious food vendors 😁 Thanks to everyone who came out and got involved with the different activities and supported Laidley Hospital through the Foundation.
