Client Testimony
From our first meeting with Teresa we knew we had found someone special enough to guide us through the birth of our first child. With so much uncertainty ahead of us, she quickly changed fear and anxiety into calm and excitement. On the night we went into labour, Teresa’s presence made us feel safe, emotionally and physically supported and well energised. As the 43 hour labour progressed with a few complications along the way, Teresa was by our side the whole time, ensuring we felt comfortable, empowered and validated. Teresa’s communication with the hospital staff didn’t waver from what we had discussed, she advocated for us when we were unsure and mentally fatigued to make decisions and ensured our birth plan remained on track of what we wanted through the term. Teresa met with us again after the birth to offer any support needed to process the birth and check in on how we were post natal. We needed this more than we thought and again found Teresa’s presence and support warm and understanding.

Are you drinking enough water?
Hydration while breastfeeding is important.
Your body uses up water from within to help in milk production.
One of the easiest ways to make sure you’re drinking enough water is to have a large glass of water at every feed💧.

Client Testimony

Being our first baby we were like any other first parent not knowing what to expect. Having Teresa at our home leading up to the birth of our boy was invaluable and exactly what we needed. We were in the midst of covid and restrictions meant that she was unable to accompany us to the hospital. But once we were there she remained available on the phone whenever we needed her. My husband was the one who was in contact with her throughout; he felt comfortable communicating with her and appreciated her knowledge and guidance along the way.
Teresa is professional yet personable and compassionate all at once. She approaches and checks in with all the sensitivity one could wish for with encouragement and gentle reminders especially as things get tough.
She brings with her a calming and grounding presence that is tangible in the room.
An added bonus, she’s also a masseuse which my lower back loved her for!
I wouldn’t hesitate in having her back next time around and recommend her with all my heart! Thank you again Teresa for being and bringing all that you are to life’s most wonderful experience!

RECIPE
Roast Chicken is a staple in our household.
STUFFING:
4 slices of day old bread, broken into pieces
100-150g butter, melted
1 brown onion cooked until soft in melted butter
dried herbs and salt to flavour.
Mix together and stuff into chicken.
Coat the chicken with olive oil and a sprinkle of dried herbs. I also place a couple of k***s of butter under the skin around the breast.
Roast at 180 for 1.5 hours (depending on size of chook).
I also cut up a heap of veggies, sweet potato, zucchini, red onion, capsicum, eggplant, brussel sprouts, carrots, pumpkin or whatever you have in the fridge. Drizzle with olive oil, salt and some fresh or dried herbs and cook along side the chicken.

My husband does do the best ever crispy roast potatoes too 😋

This is an easy dish, which normally has ample left overs for lunches the next day. You could add couscous or quinoa to the left over veggies to create another meal

FAMILY FOOD FIGHT!
I was recently invited to participate in a family food fight for a friend's birthday.
Those that know me, know that I am not up for adventure or mess 🤪 BUT I SAID YES!
There were big belly laughs as I wasn't quick enough to escape to attacks, despite running until I was puffed.

I am on a journey to grow, to push myself beyond my comforts, to say yes before the fear (or logic) kicks in (within reason 🤭).
I am thankful for the community of people around me that encourage and support me along this journey 💕
