Rural Child Health

Rural Child Health Your location and your lifestyle should NOT determine the level of care you can access.
(1)

Every child should have access to timely, evidence-based and supportive health care regardless of their geographical location. By offering an Online Child Health Service, delivered by an experienced Maternal Child Health Nurse, families can access care and support from anywhere. I have worked in rural and metropolitan areas and seeing the gross imbalance between the two regarding accessibility and availability of quality services is how Rural Child Health was born. I want more rural families to have the expertise and support they need while raising their families. Becoming a parent or caregiver is a life changing experience and the idea of growing and nurturing the world's next generation is exciting but at times overwhelming. This is why having access to the right support and services is crucial for all families. Child Health encompasses the physical, developmental, behavioural and social growth of your child and includes support for the family as a whole. You may at times ask yourself β€˜is this normal?' Rural Child Health can help you navigate through the joys and challenges of parenting from birth right through until 18 years old, specialising in 0-5 years.

It took a lot of self talk and reassurance to me so let go of perfect and clean so that my 8 yo and I could do biscoff balls together.

This is your reminder that done is better than perfect and they Jsut wnat to hang out with you not make perfect rum balls.

AND this is your reminder that if you want to do your rum balls when your kids go to bed so they are round, the coconut and chocolate sprinkles stay in the bowl and not all over the floor for your sanity is absolutely ok too πŸ˜‚πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ₯°

Sending big love to you.
