1️⃣ How long have you been coming to One Body?
Since November 2023 — and it’s become a consistent part of my life ever since.

2️⃣ What first brought you here?
I was referred by my doctor after a CT scan due to ongoing pain issues. At that point, I wasn’t looking for fitness — I was looking for relief and a way to function normally again.

3️⃣ What’s your favourite class or instructor?
Strength Reformer — I love the balance between control, strength, and precision. It challenges me without pushing me past what my body can handle.

4️⃣ What keeps you coming back?
This is one of the only forms of exercise that’s given me genuine relief from chronic pain. Learning to connect breath with controlled, achievable movement has completely shifted how I understand my body. It’s shown me that healing isn’t about pushing harder — it’s about moving smarter.

5️⃣ What’s been the biggest change you’ve noticed since starting Pilates with us?
I can move freely again in everyday life — things like cleaning, getting dressed, standing, sitting — all the small things that used to feel hard or restricted. But more than that, it’s given me a pathway back to something I love. It’s allowed me to reconnect with my passion for dancing, which I didn’t think was possible for a while.

1.5 klm swim ✅ 40 klm bike ✅ 10 klm run ✅ and 3:36 minutes later, you can finally break up with the discomfort. You see, doing events like this is what builds you up for life. There is nowhere to go except within. It’s you against your mindset, your self talk, your ability to sit in discomfort. And when your muscles are aching and your back is breaking, the crowd are cheering but it is just you against you. No phone to distract, no avoiding the feelings, You must learn to embrace how your body responds, harness it and use it as fuel. It then transfers to all aspects of the hood. Motherhood, businesshood, familyhood, etc, because being uncomfortable is comfortable and that is a super power. ⭐️
