Supporting local services that provide connection and opportunity for our community is what fills our cup ♥️

Last month we were delighted to see our friends from Purple Heather, one of our wonderful community supporters.

Through our Cycling Without Age Sorrento program, we work together to create meaningful experiences for the people they support — and today was a beautiful example of that partnership in action.

The group enjoyed a beautiful long ride from Sorrento to Trigg and back, with a cuppa at Canteen Trigg. On the way back they also stopped in at one of our sun shelters overlooking the Indian Ocean to take part in our 'Storytelling Through the Generations', talks, supported by an Aus Day grant. This, an extended initiative explored how our coastal community came to be, including the founding family of the area and the history of the Sorrento Whaling Station.

How's that for a morning out?!

We’re so grateful for supporters like Purple Heather who help keep our wheels rolling and strengthen connection for more people along our beautiful coastline.

That’s a wrap for Deb’s Caring Crafts 2025 ♥️🌲

Today we celebrated our final Caring Crafts session for 2025, a space where people of all abilities come together to create, connect and feel part of something special.

The room was full of colour, laughter, yarn, glue, good conversation and that sense of calm that only craft can bring. Watching confidence grow, friendships form, and creativity flourish across the year has been truly inspiring.

A huge thank you to Deb for the heart and talent she pours into every session, and to every participant who shows up with courage, kindness and curiosity. You make this community what it is ✨

What an incredible Saturday celebrating inclusion, teamwork and community at the Football Futures Foundation All-Inclusive Tournament!

Purple Heather was proud to attend and support this fantastic event, cheering on players of all abilities who showcased the true spirit of the game. Passion, respect, and belonging. 💪

A special shout-out to the Carramar Shamrock Rovers FC I-League team, who played with heart and represented our community beautifully. Your energy and sportsmanship embody everything we stand for at Purple Heather. Creating spaces where everyone feels seen, supported, and included. 🌈⚽

Events like these remind us why we partner with local organisations who champion inclusion through sport.
