What an incredible Saturday celebrating inclusion, teamwork and community at the Football Futures Foundation All-Inclusive Tournament!

Purple Heather was proud to attend and support this fantastic event, cheering on players of all abilities who showcased the true spirit of the game. Passion, respect, and belonging. 💪

A special shout-out to the Carramar Shamrock Rovers FC I-League team, who played with heart and represented our community beautifully. Your energy and sportsmanship embody everything we stand for at Purple Heather. Creating spaces where everyone feels seen, supported, and included. 🌈⚽

Events like these remind us why we partner with local organisations who champion inclusion through sport.

Our Capacity Building Program is designed to strengthen independence, connection, and long-term outcomes for people with disability and their families.

✅ Level 2 & Level 3 Support Coordination
– Helping you understand your NDIS plan, build a strong support network, and navigate complex systems with confidence.

✅ Specialist Case Management & Social Work
– Therapeutic, trauma-informed support that looks at the whole person, not just the plan.
– Advocacy, safeguarding, and practical guidance during times of change or crisis.

✅ Community Nursing Services
– Health-led, capacity-building approaches to wellbeing, daily living, and complex care needs.

Our team works alongside participants, families, and carers to build capability, increase choice and control, and develop sustainable supports that lead to real quality-of-life outcomes.

This world mental health day is all about connecting with your community. Whether it's a coffee with friends, or a walk with a neighbour, taking a moment out of your day to check in with those around you can help to lighten the mental load that so many of us struggle with.

Remember it's okay to not feel okay, reach out to someone in your community for support. Together we are stronger.

Today, we paused, we checked in, and we reminded each other that a conversation could change a life.

From fresh juice and snacks to mindfulness journals, smiley tokens and connection cards , our table was more than just a spread. It was a safe space for asking, listening, and being present.

At Purple Heather, we know that genuine support starts with a simple question: “Are you OK?”

We encourage everyone. Staff, participants, families& friends to keep that question alive. Not just today, but every day.

We couldn’t be prouder to see Carramar Shamrock Rovers FC recognised by Football West as Club Changer of the Month for their commitment to Diversity, Equality & Inclusion 👏✨

This recognition celebrates the launch of the club’s All-Abilities team, which has grown from just four players to a thriving program making a real difference in the community.

For us at Purple Heather, the connection runs deep. Our very own Director, Paul Daily, also coaches the Rovers’ I-League team 💚⚽. His dedication on the pitch reflects the same values that drive our work off the pitch: inclusion, opportunity, and community spirit.

Together, Purple Heather and Carramar Shamrock Rovers are filling cups, creating pathways, building resilience, and celebrating every player’s unique strengths.
