Next Level Performance Football Coaching consists of 10 sessions per level. Each level advances players in their game through a variety of methods both with and without the ball. It is vital that players achieve mastery in each area before they progress to the next level. What our sessions include:
- Speed and Agility Training
- Reaction Time and Decision-Making Drills
- Technical Football drills to improve ball contact, ball speed and first touch
- Situational awareness and the ability to create space and/or pass
into space
- Position Specific Training (GK, CB, RB/LB, CM, RW/LW, ST)
- Player Monitoring (GPS & Heart Rate)
- Performance Testing (Speed, Agility, Endurance, Strength)
- Body Composition & Athletic Screenings
- Strength and Conditioning Programs
- Video Analysis (Biomechanics and Technique)
About the Next Level Staff:
Garrett McDuling – Garrett is currently the Head Coach for the Under 20’s at Perth Soccer Club in the NPL League as well as the First XI Head Coach at Guildford Grammar. Garrett has obtained a Bachelor of Sports Science and Football (a very unique degree conducted only at two universities in the world). Garrett has played football professionally in Ireland for Shamrock Rovers and many other semi-professionally clubs in Queensland. Since Garrett moved to Perth in 2015, his first coaching opportunity started with Under 16’s NPL team at Balcatta, for which he then moved into a more challenging role at Bayswater City’s Under 18’s NPL team as an Assistant Coach in 2016. During his time in Perth, Garrett has completed his community coaching badges (junior, youth & senior) and the first two of his advanced coaching badges being the C & B Licences which are both accredited by FFA. Garrett also holds a current Working With Children Check. David Kist – David is currently an Assistant Coach for the Under 20’s at Perth Soccer Club in the NPL League. David has a year left on his Bachelor of Sports Science and Football degree that will see him qualified at the end of 2018. David has previously coached the Under 10’s at Bayswater City in 2015, as well as the Year 8A’s at Guildford Grammar in 2016. Since David commenced University in 2014, he has obtained his community coaching badges (junior, youth and senior) and is currently completing the first of his advanced coaching badges, the FFA C Licence which is due to be completed in December 2017.
