Weekend spent swimming with my favourite support crew ๐Ÿ˜˜ Ember & Judd

Because no matter what Aunty Em is Number 1 in their eyes (and hoping this never changes ๐Ÿ˜†) ,

This woman is so incredibly special to me ๐Ÿ’™ is practically my second mum and has always been there for me and infact for anyone in need.

Lisa has always been so generous, kind and loving, lighting up any room she walks into. Although life has thrown some sh*tty cards at her she always battles them so graciously with her head held high, and this current on-going battle with cancer is no different.

Late 2019 Lisa was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer and has been digging deep to push through the toughest of times, still ongoing treatment today.

Set out to with an initial goal to raise $2,500 and riding in the MACA 200 rideย  (200km ride from Perth to Mandurah and Back) to raise vital funds for cancer research.

Lisa has smashed her goals from being unsure if she will be well enough to even ride to completing the ride above and beyond expectations with her beautiful team at Orica.

AND raised over $10k !!!!!!

Thanks to the ongoing research and trials it gives people like Lisa hope and makes all the difference in the world.

I know her children
And would have gave anything to be here in the flesh but followed her every step of the way from Melbourne.

My weekend wake up calls are getting eariler and eailer, and for once I am not mad about it ๐Ÿ˜†

I am not a morning person what so ever!!! ๐Ÿ’ค BUT when there is a goal in sight there is the motivation to get me up and moving. ๐Ÿ’™

Last few swims for the year, ๐ŸŠโ€โ™€๏ธ making them count ๐Ÿ’™

A couple of days until the new year, and although it is easy to chuck everything in the "next year" basket (which I am also guilty of), is there anything you can do to finish the year on a stronger note?

Maybe it's a book you've been meaning to finish , a new meal you want to cook, a run or exercise you've put off, someone you've been meaning to FaceTime or check in with, something around the house you wanted to organise or clean out, a YouTube clip (or yes even a tiktok) that you want to learn how to do.

No matter how small it may even be, Finish the year with you can not you can't, Start the year with one less thing off your to do list and a little less procrastinating to start the next.
