Aussies love a road trip, but it can also be a pain in the neck!

All the hours spent prepping for your holiday, plus all the stress getting the kids ready, plus a long drive stuck in one position...

This can add up to some serious pain.

Staying in one position for so long is the main cause of neck and back pain after a long drive.

But you can help avoid the ache.

Pull over every hour, get out of the car and stretch!

Here are some tips to loosen up your neck and shoulders:

• Stretch neck from side to side
• Roll your shoulders back
• Do some shoulder shrugs
• Stretch and move your upper back

Aussie summer is heating up, which means one thing for many Aussie families: cricket. 🏏

Whether playing in the backyard or watching on television, it's a national obsession.

One of the most devastating cricket injuries is fast bowler's back, which can cause lower back pain and even stress fractures. ⚡

The repetitive extension and side bending of the spine as you bowl can put immense pressure on the bony structures of your spine.

Australian cricketer Cameron Green is currently recovering from this type of injury.

For young fast bowlers in particular, managing their load and number of overs bowled in training and in games is crucial.
