Plantar Fasciitis?
Your Calves Might Be the Real Culprit… 👀

Did you know that heel pain doesn’t always start in your heel?

👉 Plantar fasciitis often links back to tight or overloaded calf muscles.

Here’s why:
Your calves connect to your Achilles tendon… which then connects into the plantar fascia under your foot. When the calves are tight or fatigued, they tug on that chain, creating extra strain through the sole of the foot.

Over time? 💥 Cue stabbing heel pain, morning soreness, and that “ouch with every step” feeling.

Common signs it might be calf-related:
• Pain first thing in the morning
• Tight ankles
• Sore heels after standing or walking
• Pain after exercise
• One foot worse than the other

Get a booking to help with this issue. Sitting long period of time, standing long period of time and even walking around long periods of time all makes this imbalance become an issue. Lower back pain is not the section of the lower back being a problem it is coming from the muscles above or the muscles below. Book in to get these looked at and treated.

Correct Body Mechanics aims to treat your injuries and pain to restore normal function through manual therapy and movement.

Cherine is a qualified Remedial massage therapist who graduated from the Australasian College of Massage and Myotherapy.

Cherine enjoys working with clients suffering from chronic pain, Sports injuries and overuse work related injuries. Cherine combines a range of assessment and treatment techniques to apply individualised treatment plans for each client.

Since 2010 Cherine has been involved with St johns and WA fire brigade as a volunteer and currently venturing out to be with the Two Rocks Marine Rescue.
