🚨DEFENCE FORCE ACTIVITY AT PORT WAKEFIELD 🚨

The Department of Defence is undertaking testing near Port Wakefield, which will affect the waters in Gulf St Vincent during November.

The activities will be conducted during the day and will involve the firing of flares, which may be visible to the public from Port Wakefield Highway and other surrounding communities during the hours of testing.

The testing activity is scheduled to take place from Monday, November 10 to Friday, November 14, 8am to 4pm, and again from Monday, November 17, to Friday, November 21, 8am to 4pm.

Defence said they are committed to minimising the inconvenience to the local community and although the noise is regrettable, this training ensures that they are able to maintain its world-class response capabilities.
