One of the most rewarding parts of being a training practice is supporting GP Registrars as they grow in confidence, skill, and independence. But with that comes the hardest partโฆ saying goodbye when itโs time for them to move on. ๐
Over the coming weeks, we will be farewelling Dr Emma Johnson, who finishes with us on 22 January, and Dr Maddy Nappier, whose final day will be 30 January. Both have been wonderful doctors and valued members of our Mead Medical community, and they will be greatly missed by patients and staff alike.
While itโs always sad to see registrars leave, this transition is a vital and positive part of their training journey. We are incredibly proud of Emma and Maddy and wish them every success as they continue their GP training. The door at Mead Medical will always be open, and we would love to welcome them back in the future once their training is complete.
As one chapter closes, another begins. From 2 February, we are excited to welcome three new GP Registrars to the clinic:
- Dr Ainslie Jolliffe
- Dr Liang Jong
- Dr Thomas Weaver
Weโll be sharing individual introductions very soon so you can get to know them better.
Thank you to our patients for supporting medical education and being part of this important journey with us. ๐
