Relax and Renew Massage is a home based massage therapy business.
After many years spent dreaming of opening a massage business I finally put into action a plan in late 2015. I have spent the time since then studying remedial massage. Gaining my qualifications at both cert 4 and diploma level as a Remedial Massage Therapist. As I was required to perform a specified amount of massage hours while I was studying I have established a client base which I’m working on expanding as my experience grows. My business has been built up through word of mouth – through social networking, community groups and social media.
My massage business is unique as I offer the service on a more flexible basis – from 6am to allow for working clients to have access to a massage outside normal working hours. I am also mobile – I can travel to clients’ premises if they are unable to travel to my place of business. I am able to provide a massage in a relaxing and private environment.
Our Scope of Practice as massage therapists means we provide massage therapy and treat clients to help relieve symptoms of pain, enhance their health and wellness, maintain & rehabilitate physical function and prevent dysfunction. Using a variety of manual techniques including stroking, friction, kneading, vibration, compression, stretching and passive joint movement and treating a wide variety of conditions from headaches, neck and back pain, through to sports and activity related conditions, muscle and joint pain, arthritis, repetitive strain injuries and postural problems.
