MY BLESSING

One of my beautiful clients has the most amazing heart. She works long hours supporting people in need, is a devoted mother of three creative young children and two dogs and a loving, caring and supportive wife. Still, there is space in her life to be a foster mum of two little puppies.

I never feel like I am cleaning for her, instead it's a gift.

Meet Beethoven. One of the foster puppies who follows me EVERYWHERE and fills my heart with so much love.

A THOUGHT FOR TODAY - GRATITUDE

Yesterday morning as we sat in the foggy early morning traffic with a hint of impatience, a man passing by on the footpath in his electric wheelchair caught my attention.

I wondered about his morning and noticed I began feeling sad for him as I started to question the inequalities in life.

This didn't feel right for either of us so I chose instead to turn my thoughts toward gratitude; being thankful for the opportunity to walk, run, jump and skip if I wanted to and being grateful for this man's wheels that could get him out and about independently in the early morning hours.

There is no Magic Bullet but there are simple pleasures. The beauty of gratitude for me is that once you get started it snowballs and the sad empty feelings are overturned by fulfilment and love.

A THOUGHT FOR TODAY

This message from Wayne Dyer really spoke loud and clear to me yesterday when I was reading his book, Excuses Begone. The more I read it the more it excited me.

I'd just like to say a massive thank you to My Temple Cleaning. You have been helping me to nurture and clear space in our home for 3 months now and the whole family can all FEEL the difference (including the fur kids).

I love the fact that you not only clean our home but you also nurture it and in so doing you nurture each of us. Ottelia, my 4 year old talks about you all the time - even though she hasn't met you - because you arrange her room so beautifully for her. Jack and B (the fur kids) look forward to your visits and I LOVE coming home to a clean house that smells and feels DIVINE.
