I was just wandering past this doorway between a traditional Chinese medicine long form appointment and dinner with friends, when I discovered the garden of immortality pills. The alchemists who tried to create have been dead for centuries, but the courtyard built for them remains, nestled between two bustling shopping areas Gong Yuan Qian and Beijing Road. Beijing Road itself is 2000 years old, but it needs its own post to do it justice.

If you love exploring cities, both modern and ancient, trying out local dishes and shopping for everything under the sun, both wholesale and retail, Guangzhou is the place to go. I lived here 4 years and I have been coming back ever since China reopened after COVID.

I'm planning to guide small, intimate groups on trips to different Chinese cities, for TCM treatments, short stays at 24 hour spas, as well as hot springs and nature trips next year. Stay tuned for more information.

Hoy en toda Latinoamérica recordamos a nuestros mu***os, los que ya dejaron de sufrir, los que se fueron al más allá. Pero en Mesoamérica, en tierras Mayas, Mexicas, Aztecas, Pipiles, Toltecas, Lencas, Pocomames, no tememos a la muerte. La reconocemos como parte del ciclo de la vida. En México lo llevan más lejos aún, y le dedican varios días a sus difuntos. Los celebran y los saludan y los recuerdan, para que no se desvanezcan. Con sangre mexicana en el cuerpo yo recuerdo hoy a los ancestros, a los parientes, a mis mascotas y le doy gracias a y México en La Piel por esta celebración tan bella para el ***os aquí en Brisbane

I've had so many people mention I should just start writing and publishing, but it took a while before I chose the right medium, the right platform and how I want to integrate my personal story with what I see as my purpose in life.
