Jacks Corner Retreat is a unique and peaceful homestead, nestled amidst 40 acres of unspoilt rainforest and native bushland in magnificent Kangaroo Valley, NSW. Accommodation in the bedroom pavilions consists of 6 spacious guest rooms, each with a private ensuite, sleeping a total of 20 guests. All rooms have fans, heating, bush views and open onto a sunny courtyard garden. Bedrooms have been designed with guests’ comfort and needs in mind:
King size beds
Timber king-single bunks and
single beds with comfortable, quality
mattresses
Pillows, doonas, plush blankets
Sheets, pillowcases and bath towels
Built-in robes
Ensuite bathroom with separate toilet

There is also a yoga room and an air conditioned Yurt. Kangaroo Valley described by many as "The most beautiful valley in Australia". Car is the most usual way to get around the valley. Bikes are also very popular. We are 8kms from the Village and there is no public transport so having a vehicle is absolutely necessary. Normal arrival time after 2pm, departure by 11am. If you would like to vary this it is usually fine but please ask. The scenery is superb and there is plenty to do here: bush walking, horse riding, Kayaking or simply enjoying the village cafes and shops. Seven Mile Beach is only 45 minutes away. Guests are invited to wander at will and enjoy the whole property and look for the many varieties of birds also echidnas, wallabies, wombats and Kangaroos in great supply!

I thought I’d let the people know who hadn’t been informed and are still enquiring about retreat bookings that we have actually sold Jacks Corner Retreat and it is now owned by the International Grammar School from Sydney as their country Campus so is no longer available for retreats. Thank you again for your previous patronage it was a delight to host you but we are now enjoying retirement and we wish you well in the future. Ed and Bel 🙏🥰

One final view of our beloved water lilies on the dam as we leave our beautiful Jacks Corner Retreat, tears were shed, trees were hugged and goodbyes were sent to our animal friends that we lovingly shared the land with.
Such a sacred special place, very grateful we could be the guardians for our time here.
We’re overjoyed for the new owners, The International Grammar School who we know will get as much pleasure as we did.

Farewell to Jacks Corner Retreat 🙏💕
We will be having a celebration on the 14th of January at 1pm to say goodbye to our beloved Retreat and we’d love to invite our friends to join us if you are free.
I’m sure it will be very bitter sweet for us all so we are looking forward to seeing and hugging everyone at our final farewell, please message me if you’re planning to join us so food and refreshments can be arranged,

It is the end of an era for Jacks Corner Retreat and with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our beautiful retreat, we have now sold and the new owners The International Grammar School which have purchased will not be moving forward with any upcoming retreats.

Ed and I would love to say how we’ve enjoyed holding retreats here at Jacks and thanking everyone for being part of our beautiful space over the last 7 years. We are so grateful for your loyalty, love and respect for our wonderful home. It's been an absolute pleasure to hold space for you all here and we wish you all love and happiness in
the future.

Jo Longhurst is such an Angel and she hosts such wonderful retreats here at Jacks Corner Retreat.
I absolutely LOVE putting on my YOGA RETREATS!! Had the most wonderful weekend with such gorgeous people helping them with their yoga..Lots of yummy food, beautiful countryside with kangaroos butterflies in such a peaceful environment 🙏🏽

Thank you for a beautiful review 🙏💕 Have just returned from a weekend Pilates retreat with the lovely and incredibly knowledgeable . She knows her way around the human body and is a fabulous instructor. Feeling great after several Pilates sessions, great food, lots of sleep and no phone - very relaxing! The place we stayed in in the was stunning. You’d be excused for thinking I went to a flower show or botanic gardens - the house is on 40 acres of beautiful bushland - the sounds and smells of the bush awaken the senses. Can highly recommend a retreat with Paola!

Day 3 of the KANGAROO VALLEY Pilates Retreat. The final day and we all felt we wanted to stay on this beautiful property forever. The positive energy and connection of this group and willingness to explore movement has inspired me even more. Thank you for being an open minded with thought provoking observations and discussions🙏. Another huge thank you to for serving the most beautiful food. We all wanted you to come home with us! Finally, thank you to Belinda at for creating a beautiful environment in which to hold retreats. It is a magical venue and I will be back 😊.
