Neurodiversity Celebration Week 2026 is here — with a focus this year on moving from awareness to action, to create schools, workplaces, and communities that truly understand and advocate for neurodivergent people.

From March 16-20, Neurodiversity Celebration Week recognises the many ways people experience the world — the way they think, learn, and communicate.

By taking meaningful action, listening to neurodivergent voices, removing barriers, and fostering inclusive spaces, we can build a world that celebrates strengths, achievements, and uniqueness.

Head to the Knowledge Hub on our website to explore our range of resources for schools and workplaces, learn more about Autism and find out how you can take action this Neurodiversity Celebration Week.

“I didn’t realise how much I needed a Sunflower Extra card until I had a Sunflower Extra card.”

Every hidden disability is different.
And the support we need is different too.

Sunflower Extra is a digital personalised card.
When it’s tapped, a personal page opens that shares what support looks like for you.

You can update your page anytime.

- Getting on a bus? Update it.
- Going to the supermarket? Update it.
- Heading out for the day? Update it.

It becomes your own quiet way of telling people how to help.

Our popular Circle of Security Parenting Program starts THIS WEEK! 🥰

This FREE 6-week program is an attachment-based parenting program for ALL parents and carers based on decades of research.
We understand that at times all parents can feel lost or confused about what their child needs, this is normal. Imagine what it would be like to feel more confident in reading your child's cues and understanding what they need.

Using the COS-P model developed by the Circle of Security originators, we work with parents and caregivers to help you to:
⭐️ Understand their child’s emotional world by learning to read emotional needs
⭐️ Support their child’s ability to successfully manage emotions
⭐️ Enhance the development of their child's self esteem
⭐️ Honour the innate wisdom and desire for their child to be secure.

Playing with AI during a cyclone and this is pretty close to reintroducing me! A little daunting that AI already knew that I live in Australia and work in disabilities the NDIS and family support.

For those of you that know me well, my focus is on doing the doing and supporting families in person to get to know and understand your goals, and your challenges. I have been a support coordinator for the past five years and assist people of all ages in navigating and understanding their NDIS plans, managing of budgets, successfully achieving NDIS review outcomes and developing the best teams of allied health and support workers around them (this takes time but we get there in the end!).

Ultimately I am super passionate about seeing you or your family member live their best life!

I love living in the Pilbara, low tide at Hearsons, the sunrises and the sunsets at the Dampier Palms, a coffee catch up anytime, live music and getaways to Coral Bay with my family.

You will see by my social media that I am not on here often. That’s because I am busy behind the scenes with the families I support. Sharing community programs and NDIS updates is mainly what this page is for - however maybe in time I will be more proactive and join the social media trend.

I look forward to seeing what 2026 brings us all and to continuing being part of your NDIS journey.

Linda x
