Rob’s Long Walk Home 👣

At Karrinyup Physiotherapy, we’re lucky to work with some truly inspiring people, and long term patient of the clinic, Rob is one of them.

Rob, is doing something extraordinary - walking across Australia from Melbourne to Perth.

Yes… walking. The entire way!!

Rob is raising vital funds and awareness for Neuromuscular WA, an incredible organisation supporting people in our community living with neuromuscular conditions.

We are so proud to support Rob through this journey and witness the resilience, preparation and determination behind a challenge of this scale.

On Tuesday, Nic Blackah delivered an education session to 30 physiotherapists from clinics across Perth on the practical use of force plates in private practice.

The session focused on how to integrate force plate testing into everyday clinical decision-making; improving exercise prescription, identifying meaningful asymmetries, understanding measurement error and using objective data to monitor rehabilitation progress.

Nic has a strong background in ACL rehabilitation and return-to-sport testing, with extensive experience in strength and performance assessment through his work in ACL research and at the POSM Performance Lab. His approach bridges high-performance testing with real-world clinical application for private practice physiotherapists.

Pelvic Health Physio 🤍

A very merry Karrinyup and Marmion Christmas Party on the weekend 🎄🎅🏽

There’s nothing better than wrapping up the year with our amazing team with a friendly (competitive) arvo of games (won by Wes!), followed by dinner and drinks. We’re so lucky to have a group that genuinely enjoy being together and supporting one another.

A huge thank you to every member of the Karrinyup and Marmion Physio team for your dedication, hard work and the care you bring to our clients and community every single day. This year has been a big one and we’re proud of everything we’ve achieved.

Here’s to 2026 and everything to come!

PERKINS PLUNGE 2025 🏊🏼‍♂️
On the weekend, Paul took part in this incredible event. A 12-hour relay swim from 6pm to 6am, pushing through the night.

Paul’s team collectively raised $22,000, with Paul raising $1,000 individually. This contributed to more than $300,000 raised for the Harry Perkins Institute — an organisation that means a lot to Paul after losing his cousin to brain cancer five years ago.

Some words from Paul;

“Swimming in shifts through the night, hearing people share their stories, and watching everyone dig deep with barely any sleep… it was surreal. The sense of camaraderie, resilience, and purpose was something I’ll never forget. I am so grateful to have been a part of it.”

Lately our weekly education sessions have centred around complex case studies, with each physio stepping up to present a current case. It’s a great way to learn from each other, collaborate and keep growing as a team. This also provides an opportunity for reflecting on and reviewing our practice, ensuring best outcomes for our patients!
