The diaphragm is part of the deeper front line of our myofascial chains. This means that it has fascial connections with our psoas muscles (part of our hip flexor muscles), our jaw and TMJ muscles, and our upper neck. If you are having issues in these areas it may be an indication that your diaphragm may need some attention.
