Startupvolt is currently seeking the services of casual support workers in the SOUTHERN TASMANIA, who share and support our values. We currently have work available.

Are you the type of person suited to working for a small business and place an emphasis on accomplishing results?

Are you a person who thrives on developing personal relationships, with an ability positively influence those around you?

This could be a casual role for you working for a small NDIS provider determined to drive change!

The eligible for this casual position you must be able to demonstrate the following:
• You must have a current National Police check
• You must have a current driver’s licence
• You must have a current Working with Vulnerable People check
• You must have completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• You must have a current First Aid Certificate
• You must have relevant qualifications and or experience

About Startupvolt

What is Startupvolt?

Startupvolt’s is a new boutique provider delivering unique services under the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

Our business concept is to support National Disability Insurance participants from the creative process through to the development and support of their very own microbusiness. Self-employment is legitimate and successful employment option for people, with a disability.

The business is preferably established around an individual’s skills and interests that easily translate into moneymaking opportunities.

Participants can explore, develop and operate their own small business or microenterprise, gaining new skills in business, customer relations, marketing, social media and the industry that they are operating in.

Benefits

Self-employment improves a person’s quality of life; it provides individuals with independence, a sense of identity, a connection with the community they live in and most importantly an opportunity for people with disability to live an ordinary life. This can often lead to the formation of natural relationship and social and community inclusion.

The program provides the opportunity for participants to use their unique skills and abilities to generate some income and gain a public profile for their microbusiness.

Eligibility:

Eligible participants need a strong desire to succeed and be self-employed, be self-motivated and be able take control of their life and actions.

Participants must be eligible for funding from the National Disability Insurance Scheme
