The NDIS has finally announced their decision about the future of music therapy supports.

The Independent Review of NDIS Funded Music and Art Supports reaffirms music therapy as a recognised therapeutic support under the NDIS, aligning music therapy with other allied health professions such as speech pathology and dietetics, underscoring the profession’s standards and clinical expertise. Despite this, pricing cuts have been introduced which will take effect on the 24th of November. With music therapy already one of the only therapies subject to GST that is absorbed by the providers, there will definitely be decisions to be made over coming weeks about how we are going to proceed as a small private practice. We are going to investigate all options and made a decision before the end of September.

Meet Karina, Chloe and Maddy! ⭐️ Karina and Chloe have been leading our team since Amaze began and both have their own special interests and skill sets that their caseloads reflect. Maddy has been our amazing AHA this year while completing her speech pathology studies, but we are so excited to announce she is joining us full time when she graduates!
