The NDCH Health Promotion team has been out and about in Koondrook and Cohuna this week, dropping off Easter cards to local businesses.

While visiting, they’ve been encouraging shops to display No Smoking and No Va**ng signage to help create healthier spaces for staff, customers and the wider community.

They also took the opportunity to share the news about something fabulous coming to town… Drag Bingo! ✨

After last year’s sold-out show in Cohuna, Drag Bingo is back with a brand-new host and a fresh lineup. Expect big laughs, plenty of crowd interaction, and a night of fabulous entertainment.

At NDCH, we love supporting events that bring people together, celebrate diversity, and help build strong, connected communities.

NDCH has teamed up with Boort District Health to provide the Support for Carers Program, helping carers access practical support, advice and respite options.

If you’re caring for a family member or loved one and could use some extra support, Georgia will be available in Boort to chat, answer questions and help connect you with services that can make a difference.

NDCH was proud to take part in the inaugural La Trobe Rural Health School Jobs Expo, supporting the next generation of rural and regional health professionals.

Events like this help connect students with career pathways in community health and highlight the important role rural services play in supporting local communities. It was a great opportunity to share information about the diverse roles available at NDCH and the rewarding career opportunities that come with working in regional health.

We’re passionate about supporting future health professionals and strengthening the rural workforce for our region.

🎲 NDCH Giant Games are heading to RiverFRIdaze and SUNdaze!

If you’re heading out to enjoy the great food, music and atmosphere this weekend, make sure you stop by and have a go at our NDCH Giant Games. Our pop-up play zone is all about creating free, fun and inclusive ways for people of all ages to get active and connect with others in the community.
