Episode 3, titled into the dark is live and it's powerful..

What's your relationship with Darkness? Edgy, easy, do you have an experience like this to share?.

This episode follow Dave, Josh and Andrew as they walk out into darkness , exploring their own relationship with darkness while alone in a wild place.

Darkness both literally and metaphorically is something our culture is not comfortable with. In a metaphorical sense, is darkness an as an ally or an enemy when it comes to our sense of life purpose?

In this episode the men lean in and explore this age old question.

Join us as we walk into the dark.

Season two of the Leap is live..

In episode one, meet Josh, Dave and Andrew for the first time as they cross the ceremonial line and embark for weekend one of the Leap. Out there, they head solo from night one until Sunday morning, a powerful experience as this is the first time these men have spent solo time in the wild.

In this episode the men introduce themselves and they give context for why they are taking the leap. As the weekend goes on and the men are out there alone, they are asked the following questions.

1. What is your relationship to nature and do you see it as an ally in your life.
2. What are you noticing about the place and how it is affecting you?
3. What’s something you’ve learnt from the weekend and whats informed that?

Enjoy episode one and pass it around your friends and family.

Wildly,

The leap crew.

Hey folks,

Here’s the trailer for the Leap documentary film we will be showing on Saturday night at Brookfield.

Share this video around - we are forging a nature culture and it needs all hands on deck.

FILM AND CELEBRATION NIGHT

Join us for a celebration of these courageous men and witness their incredible journey in the film screening.

THE LEAP PODCAST

Throughout the journey, three of the men volunteered to podcast their experiences in the wild. The podcast offers a rare insight into the heart of men’s work and is the first of its kind. Over six episodes, the podcast captures their solo time, their raw struggles, and their ecstatic wins as the men honestly reflect on their lives and their relationship with the natural world.

We will be launching Season 2 of the Leap Podcast and a community crowdfunded for the podcast on Saturday night also.

WHY FUND THE PODCAST?

The production costs for the podcast are significant.

Approximately $5,000 per season. We are passionate about the podcast for good reason.

Approximately 2,500 thousand men commit su***de every year in Australia. That's almost 7 men per day.

The Leap is a podcast that captures an inspired journey. A journey focussed on men being healthy, in touch with nature, in touch with themselves, with other men and perhaps most importantly, in touch with their sense of life purpose.

The Leap podcast aims to inject a good news story about men into our culture. With no budget for adverting, the podcast has already been downloaded 1500 times. It’s making impact.

Alone on the Tarkine Coast = happy days 😊

For my five day solo on our recent Tarkine 10 day Coast trip, I made a documentary of the experience.
We spent a couple of days together, then shot solo before regrouping at the end.

None of the men podcasting had done this amount of solo before, so it was a real honour to be present for that. These experiences are landmark moments in life, if you've ever spent significant solo time in nature, you'll understand this.

Here's a snippet from day four, where I talk about getting fire going in hard conditions and answer the question, what's the deepest value of this wild place for the world..

Meet the men.
A reminder to join us at Brookfield, Margate, Saturday the 30th for a film, dinner, ceremony and celebration night also, I'll post the link in the comments.
