As we enter the final week before Easter, a few simple habits can help avoid throwing food (and money) away, and they start before you even get to the shops.

🥕 Check what you already have in the fridge, freezer and pantry – and what needs to be used up soon.
📝 Plan meals that include ingredients you already have, and make a list of extra items you need.
🛒 Stick to your shopping list: try ordering online or only going down the aisles you need in store, to avoid temptation.

Small acts like preventing food waste make a big impact. 🌏

Here are some strategies that can help 💚

My supplement stack, in order of importance.

Supplement #1: 8 hours of unconsciousness. Every night. Same time. It does more than anything I’ve ever been pitched at a conference.

Supplement #2: Walking outside with a 4-legged, 60-pound accountability partner. She has no idea what metabolic health is. She has never missed a session.

Supplement #3: Exposed skin pointed at the sky. Duration: 10 to 15 minutes. Complexity: zero. I just stand there.

Supplement #4: Water. Room temperature. Nothing added. I drink it and then I drink more of it. That’s the protocol.

Supplement #5: Food with ingredients I can identify without a chemistry degree.

Supplement #6: Three minutes of deliberate breathing. I look like I’m malfunctioning. My blood pressure doesn’t care how I look.

Supplement #7: Sitting across from another person and having a conversation. No screen between us. This is the one most people are deficient in.

Total cost: negligible.
Evidence base: decades.

Number of people who will try to sell you this stack: zero. There’s no margin in it.

No spoons? We got you 🤝

Some days your brain and body just say “nope” not today and feeding yourself can feel incredibly difficult.

Sometimes lowering the bar, leaning on convenience, and making food as accessible as possible is exactly what we need! You absolutely don’t need protein, carbs, veg and healthy fats in ALL meals but hopefully this helps making balanced meals easier. Save this post for when those days come around 🥄
