While the mood is very sombre, seeing businesses and farmers from across the region donating equipment, labour and feed is extraordinary.

Over 900 cyclists braved the elements for Gravelista at Seymour over the weekend, as part of the UCI Gravel World Series - and what a day!

A huge 135km course kept Synergy crews busy with intersection control and speed reductions, providing safe passage for competitors.

CFA (Country Fire Authority) will be undertaking Planned Burn activities this Saturday Oct 25th along Racecourse Rd, Yackandandah- between Ridge Street & Wildon Avenue.

🚧 Traffic Control will be in place along Racecourse Rd, Wildon Ave & Ridge St. Delays of up to 15 minutes can be expected. 🚧

This Sunday Oct 26th Gravelista returns to Seymour, with riders from around the world trying their hardest to qualify for the 2025 UCI Gravel World Championships.

🚧 Traffic Controllers will be at all intersections along the course, with minor delays expected from 6am - 2pm 🚧

Affected roads include; Gap Rd, Longwood-Ruffy Rd, Telegraph Rd, Highlands Rd, Hughes Creek Rd, Kobyboyn Rd & Wine Shanty Lne.

𝗪𝗘'𝗥𝗘 𝗛𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚! 👷 Synergy Traffic Management are currently recruiting Experienced Traffic Controllers to join our growing Goulburn Valley depot. We’re looking for proactive, safety conscious controllers with previous experience on High Volume Roads.

You’ll be responsible for performing Traffic Control duties on a range of Civil & Government projects, operating PTCD’s, VMS & Light Towers – while maintaining a safe, positive and inclusive environment.

The Mitchelton Wines Australian National Show and Shine-Euroa returns to Sevens Creek Park on Sunday October 5th for a souped up day of classic, vintage, modern & custom vehicles and motorcycles.

Murchison & Murchison East residents are being reminded that a Boil Water Notice remains in place for the town water supply after an abnormality was identified in the treatment process.

Customers can continue accessing drinking water supplies between 10am & 5pm at the Murchison Water Treatment Plant, located on Stevenson Street.

Temporary water is being provided to the hotels, bakery and winery. GV Water have also set up a temporary drinking water supply at the primary school and kindergarten.

Goulburn Valley Water are undertaking follow up testing and will continue to keep customers updated via their website, social media and via SMS notifications.
