This one will hurt… but after 15 years massaging full time, the bodies that are the tightest, most rigid, and lacking natural rhythm, are the ones that are deliberately breathing either consciously or subconsciously.

The only way for your nervous system to truly come out of the fight/flight sympathetic stress response, is for it to be able to do its job, to express the message and be felt by you.

Your acknowledgement, followed by judgement free observation (you do not change anything) is what informs your nervous system the danger isn’t real, and it will begin to release activated responses - like the short high breath and posturing through contracted muscles.

If you make changes that override your nervous system flow, you are actually going to war with your innate intelligence.

Changes include mentally altering your breath.

The very irritating fact about habits, is they are quickly formed through repetition, and now you are deliberately controlling your breath without awareness.

You have to feel what you have before you know what needs releasing, and this means feeling breathless.

This is why Maia movement gets you resting on the ground, because your nervous system is able to release tension for a safer experience of breathlessness.

I am the cause and the cure.

If something is not working, i know it is linked to how I am moving.

All of the symptoms I was able to write in the video were repeatedly managed, and drugged away by mainstream and alternative options… and back they would come.

Even though I was treating the circulation problems that were causing stagnation, toxic buildup, low nutrient and low oxygen areas…

I was repeating the familiar movements that worked around the tension.

Yes, you can stimulate a response in your body, but as soon as you stop the stimulation (exercise, therapy, practice, pill) your habits will bring you back.

But, claiming this power for yourself is scary, because there is an unlimited number of people out there who will undermine your perfection and power with science and medical facts, jargon and fear.

I was there, my childhood into early adulthood dependent on medical intervention, and my ego and identity sought this belonging, I felt seen and valued when I was ill and had a diagnosis.

Getting off the pendulum of stimulation and crashing is really hard.

I feel like I have landed in 2026... which from all reports is how quite a few of you feel too.

I loved my adventures in 2025, wow the things I learned and achieved were unexpected, and undesired, but here we are.
