K-Life is hosting First Aid and CPR Training on Wednesday 15 April in the Cedar Room, and members of the community are invited to take part.
These nationally recognised courses give you practical skills and confidence to respond in an emergency. It’s one of those skills you hope you never need, but you’ll be glad you have.
🫀 HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
1:30pm – 2:30pm
Includes online pre-course learning
⛑ HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid
2:30pm – 4:30pm
Includes online pre-course learning
Cost:

There were smiles all around as residents enjoyed a few sweet treats and shared the joy that comes with a bit of chocolate (because let’s be honest… you’re never too old for Easter eggs).

Something important is starting to take shape in Killarney… and we want you in the room.

We’re planning the Killarney and District Community Connections Expo — a space to bring our community together, strengthen local connections, and support recovery and resilience across the region.

This isn’t just another event. It’s about:
• Showcasing the incredible work of local groups
• Helping people (especially those new to town) find their place
• Connecting businesses, services, and residents
• Building something stronger, together

Right now, we’re at the stage where ideas matter most. That’s where you come in.

Support clients in their homes across home care, disability, palliative care and more — with flexible hours (including school hours options).

🏡 Residential Aged Care RN (Full-Time / Flexible options)
Lead clinical care in our modern aged care facility.
Support residents with dignity, independence, and genuinely person-centred care.

At K-Life, our Dementia Support Group is here to support carers, families, and anyone impacted by dementia. It’s a safe, welcoming space to connect with others, share experiences, and access practical advice.

We meet monthly, and whether it’s a relaxed coffee and chat or hearing from guest speakers, the goal is simple — helping you feel supported and understood.

Dementia can be challenging, not just for the person living with it, but for everyone around them. Having the right support and connection can make a real difference.

We also encourage you to explore the Dementia Australia website, which offers trusted information, resources, and support for people living with dementia and their carers. It’s a great place to learn more and find additional help when you need it.
