🚗💛 Drive to Care – Bringing Healthcare Closer to Home 💛🚗

At K-Life, we believe everyone deserves access to quality care — no matter where they live.

Our Drive to Care campaign is all about making that happen. We’re working towards purchasing and fitting out a dedicated Community Health Outreach Vehicle, allowing our nurses, allied health team and medical staff to reach people who can’t always reach us.

From isolated older residents to busy families, this initiative will help deliver essential healthcare right where it’s needed most — at home, in the community, and close to the people we care about.

This is more than just a vehicle — it’s about connection, dignity, and ensuring no one misses out on the care they need.

Every contribution, big or small, helps us get closer to our goal and makes a real difference in the lives of our community.

The Bone Bus will be visiting our community on Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd June 2026.

This is a great opportunity for eligible patients to access a bone density scan, which can help with early detection of conditions like osteoporosis.

👉 If you’re interested, please speak with your doctor to see if you are eligible and to arrange a referral.

Early detection can make a real difference to your long-term health and wellbeing.

We’d like to share an update with our K-Life community 💙

As part of a planned transition, K-Life is moving to a structure that supports strong, visible leadership on-site each day. We’re pleased to share that Andrew Millard has stepped into the role of General Manager, leading our day-to-day operations and working closely with our Leadership Team and Board.

Many of you already know Andrew, and we’re confident in the care, commitment, and steady leadership he brings to our community.

Most importantly, we want to reassure you that nothing changes in the care and support we provide. Our residents, clients, and community remain at the heart of everything we do, and our team continues to deliver the same high standard of care each and every day.

Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back, meet new people, and be part of something truly special?

The K-Life Auxiliary is a wonderful group of dedicated volunteers who support our residents through fundraising, friendship, and hands-on help—making a real difference every day.

From raising funds for vital equipment and resources to creating moments of connection and care, the Auxiliary plays an important role in enhancing the lives of those at K-Life.

K-Life is hosting First Aid and CPR Training on Wednesday 15 April in the Cedar Room, and members of the community are invited to take part.
These nationally recognised courses give you practical skills and confidence to respond in an emergency. It’s one of those skills you hope you never need, but you’ll be glad you have.
