At Rehab 4 Pets, we believe learning never stops!

This weekend I joined my fellow Animal Biomechanical Medicine Professionals in Kilmore, a fantastic chance to connect with fellow experts, share knowledge, and refine the way we care for your pets.

By staying up to date with the latest research in osteopathy and rehabilitation, and working alongside other passionate professionals, I can bring even better techniques back to the clinic. The goal? Helping your dogs move with more comfort, recover with more ease, and enjoy every wag, jump and zoomie. 🐾

Because when we keep learning, your pets keep thriving. 🐶

Easter is just around the corner, and while Kara would love to be indulging in chocolate eggs and hot cross buns, this is your yearly reminder that these can be highly toxic to dogs! 🐶❌

Chocolate contains theobromine, a substance that dogs can’t metabolize as well as humans. Even small amounts can cause:
⚠️ Vomiting & diarrhea
⚠️ Increased heart rate
⚠️ Tremors & seizures
⚠️ In severe cases, fatal poisoning

❌ Hot cross buns are also dangerous for dogs because they often contain raisins or sultanas, which can cause acute kidney failure, even in small amounts.

How to keep your pup safe this Easter:
🐣 Store chocolate out of reach – dogs have a great nose for treats!
🐣 Keep an eye on Easter egg hunts – make sure no chocolates are left behind.
🐣 Educate kids & guests – remind them not to share their sweets.
🐣 If your dog eats chocolate, call your vet immediately!

This Easter, let’s keep our furry friends safe! 💛🐾 Instead of chocolate, treat them to dog-friendly snacks so they can join in the fun too! 🦴🥕
