ProMED Tasmania is locally owned and operated, dedicated to providing professional, high-quality medical and first aid solutions tailored to meet your training, event, and supply needs. We provide online, blended, and face-to-face training in both nationally recognised and non-accredited courses with certified and professional educators from the healthcare field. Workplace and group discounts are available for onsite training that can be customised and adjusted to the specific work environment. With our management team having over 20 years of experience in providing event medical and first aid, we can provide comprehensive, adaptable, and cost-effective solutions and support to customers from pre-event planning to delivery and post-event reporting. ProMED Tasmania offers a wide range of industry-standard first aid and medical items, supplies, and equipment for a wide range of uses and locations, all of which are in compliance with workplace and regulatory requirements. 🚑 Calling Doctors – Motorsport Medical Coverage in Southern Tasmania 🏁

ProMED Tasmania is seeking medical practitioners to support ongoing motorsport events on a casual basis in Hobart as part of our Event Medical & First Aid Services team!

This is a unique opportunity to work in a pre-hospital environment alongside experienced paramedics and medical responders, delivering on-site medical care for drivers, officials, and spectators.

Essential Requirements
✔️ Unrestricted AHPRA registration
✔️ Access to a PBS Doctor’s Bag
✔️ Strong clinical skills with a calm, professional approach
✔️ Availability for ongoing event coverage

🍫🏃 ProMED at the Cadbury Marathon 🏃🍫

What a fantastic day at the Cadbury Marathon on Sunday! ProMED Tasmania was proud to be on site supporting runners as they took on the challenge - from the first step to the final sprint.

Our dedicated crew included 2 Registered Paramedics, 1 Registered Nurse, 6 Medics, and 2 Australian Paramedical College Students, all working together to keep participants safe and supported throughout the day.

Rest up, recover well, and we’ll see you at the next race 👟💪

ProMED Tasmania is onsite at the Cygnet Folk Festival, providing 24/7 first aid and medical support all weekend.

Blisters, bumps, feeling off, or anything more serious — we're here to help.

As we wrap up 2025, we want to take a moment to reflect on an incredible year of growth, service, and impact across Tasmania.

None of this would be possible without our dedicated team, valued partners, and the communities we support.

Our clinicians were on the ground keeping Tasmanians safe at events large and small:
• 264 events supported across Tasmania
• 686 clinical shifts staffed
• 4,901 hours of clinical service provided
• 2,229 patients treated

🎓 Training & Education
This year, our focus on high-quality, practical training delivered outstanding results:
• 1,962 participants trained
• 76 public sessions and 58 private sessions delivered
• 100% course satisfaction
• 9.6/10 rating for training quality
• 9.6/10 likelihood of participants choosing ProMED Tasmania again

Introducing our new fleet addition! 🚑

This is our new, fully custom Crossfire E10 Crew Side-By-Side Vehicle. This fully electric, all terrain buggy will be deployed at a variety of events to provide specialised response and transport capabilities. It is equipped with a stretcher, response kits, patient extrication equipment and safety equipment similar to all of our mainline fleet.

It’s first deployment will be at over the new years period!

As we wrap up 2025, we’d like to sincerely thank all our clients and partners for an incredible year of collaboration and support.

We will be taking a well-deserved break from normal operations between 20 December 2025 and 11 January 2026.

Over 30 ProMED Tasmania staff have recently completed two intensive CPD sessions held across Hobart and Launceston, strengthening clinical capability and confidence in:

✅ Sports Injuries, including Sports Trainer Level 1 Accreditation
✅ Toxidrome Recognition and Management
✅ Causes of Altered Conscious State
✅ Reaccreditation in Nationally Accredited Training

These sessions form part of ProMED Tasmania’s ongoing commitment to excellence in clinical care, ensuring our teams remain skilled, confident, and ready to respond across a wide range of event and patient care environments.
