Theodore (Mick) Baker
Mick has had a FULL Life! Growing up in Brisbane, Mick spent most his life drafting plans for the Council and the government including working on the Main Roads Project when it was in development. Mick then moved to Civil Engineering, working on projects for remote Aboriginal communities.
He was also a Professional (without getting paid!) Rugby Union Player! He was actually invited to play for Australia 2 days before his wedding! and turned it down!! He played until he was 35 and went onto play in Golden Oldies until he was in his 60's. He met his love of his life at a Dance met up in 1959! And avid Catholic, he still makes Rosemary Beads, that sounds second to none like a perfect jewellery addition!
What Mick loves about Lifebridge.."A chance to get out in the community and have a chat with the guys on the group.."
One piece of advice Mick has is..."Keep breathing!"

This means our customers get to expand even more, with the use of their hands and developing their fine motor skills PLUS they get to take home their inspiring creations!
Honestly, to see how customers explore creativity and there creative expression, is nothing short of magical 🦋

Martin Luther King Jr. was a civil rights leader who changed the world by fighting racism and inequality through peaceful protest. His message of dignity, justice, and equality helped shape major laws in the 1960s — and his legacy still inspires human rights movements today.
His powerful quote reminds us we are not singular in our journey of life, and even the smallest gestures /actions can give someone a sense of connection, joy and inspiration.
We have no limits to what we can create as a community.
