Terence Shields
Terry was the youngest of 10 siblings!! Growing up in within Tweed Shire when he was younger, once he finished school he was in the outback being a Buckaroo! His next love was golf, becoming quite high up in the Sydney stakes with a Handicap of 2-3! He continued this until he got a whole in 1 with meeting his wife who also played golf 😉. 2 kids laters, and some fond memories of travelling with the kids and playing golf when they could, Terry has had one fulfilling life!
Terry loves... "chilling with my wife and watching some sport on TV"

One of the highlights of the Mystery Tour Calendar is the Blues Festival at Southport parklands! Every year it’s a great day out, and we are looking forward to it this year again!

Spend the day soaking up live music and coastal vibes as we head to the award-winning Blues on Broadbeach festival on the Gold Coast. With talented blues performers from Australia and around the world playing across multiple stages in the heart of Broadbeach, it’s a lively celebration of rhythm, soul and unforgettable live music.

It's something we are exceptionally passionate about.
Not just settling for the status-quo, believing the older you get, life becomes less interesting, less engaging, less inspiring.
We are fortunate that we work within an organisation where 99.9% of the staff believe and truely care for the customers to live a life that remains connected and enjoyable until the time comes where they transition.
It's not always easy. Some customers have years of disbelief that they are worthy. But every step we take we just keep believing and then sometimes, they start believing too.

Montessori is the capacity to hold space, be patient, guide and support (when asked) as well as watching other customers support each other. When we watch others connect and support - the camaraderie and connection is second to the none the best thing in the world! We LOVE it.
Its also great to see Charles nail the "stick" game that no-one has been able to nail since we brought it! Hopefully, he will share is wisdom with others ❤️

On World Parkinson’s Day, we are reminded that a person is never their illness.

A diagnosis may change some things — but it does not erase capability, spirit, or the desire to participate in life.
At Lifebridge, we believe that beyond diagnosis there is still will.
That’s why we always look for the possibility of participation, rather than assuming someone can’t.
Because dignity, purpose and connection don’t disappear with a diagnosis.
And people deserve to be seen for what they can still do — not what others assume they cannot.

Our CafĂŠ and Culture crew know how to do outings WELL! Always up for a new location, a new "foodie" joint, or something a little out of the ordinary, the ladies, pick the spots and are ready to make a fantastic day out with each other. The only (real) problem they face at time is.. when the food comes out and the plate looks absolutely divine, including the well placed flower... do you have the choice NOT to eat the flower?!?!
