Established in 1987, Lifebridge has built a solid reputation of providing exceptional service delivery to its customers. Lifebridge delivers a wide range of person centred services designed to support participants to achieve their goals, increase their independence and be a part of their local community. At the heart of Lifebridge is its people. 🌿 When Age Creeps Up 🌿

It happens quietly. One day you’re running at full pace… the next, you notice the small changes — a little stiffness, a slower step, a moment’s forgetfulness. Age has a way of creeping up on us.

But here’s the thing: ageing isn’t about losing who we are. It’s about discovering new ways to thrive.

Some empowerment moves are:
Keeping active - strength Training does wonders
Consuming less sugar
Trying new things (its time to get outside your comfort zone!)
Stimulate brain activity i.e Learn a new language!

Because life doesn’t stop as we grow older… it keeps opening new doors.

Sometimes you just have to make things fun!
And that's exactly what we are good at here... so if you need some expert tips, you know who to reach out to 😉
Our themed days have begun with our very first one being Pyjama day!
Anyone who is game or just loves staying in their Pj's all day was welcome to the day's dress code, and there were a few keen participants (if only Harry our dog mascot, had his own matching pjs 😁 it would have been perfect)!

Sometimes you just need to change things up! And that's exactly what the cottage group did... normally tapping into their creative geniuses, they decided to get out and enjoy some of the sun we have been having!
One of the many attributes we have at Lifebridge, is our ability to adapt and be fluid with what customers seek on the day... and ultimately what gives them the most joy!

Who's been to
Stretching over 8 huge rooms, visitors can walk through a variety of different zones, each with its own spectacular theme. Best yet, it is all day entry!
Our NDIS customers had the best day, jumping from one reality to the next! Highly recommend.

With age, the body often becomes a quiet teacher. It slows us down, asks us to listen more carefully, and sometimes confronts us with limitations we never expected. Yet, what emerges in these moments is not weakness, but a different kind of strength — a strength of spirit.
We see with our customers, how the human spirit refuses to bend. It’s in the elder who, though their hands may shake, still paints with passion. It’s in the person who can no longer walk far, but will still get up and dance (because they can't help it!).
A frail body does not mean a diminished life. In fact, it can reveal the truest form of resilience — an unbreakable spirit that continues to shine, inspire, and remind us of what really matters.

For some (not all), jumping in water, exudes joy, and when you add fitness, well for the body, that has its own joy.
Did you know that exercising in water reduces strain on joints while improving strength, balance, and flexibility?

It seems apt that as we recognise Carers Week from t he 12th -18th, we will also be launching our own Carer's Program here at Lifebridge.

Recognising the importance of community, we are super excited to be connecting with our carers in a small and intimate group who are ready to learn, grow, discuss and connect the trials and tribulations of caring for their loved one.

Apart of this exciting new initiative, is connecting with Dementia Outreach Australia who will be presenting topics that provide tools to assist customers navigating this dynamic environment as well as Marie Bloomfield from Mindful Path - who has a wealth of knowledge and skills on compassion and embodying this as part of the process, and finally Sheena Worrall from Braincare educating us on all things regulation, identifying and making it work for you.

It's going to be an incredible 6 weeks and we can't wait to see all our carers come together, connect and feel supported.
