In 1956, Austrian visionary Wilhelm Anger named his eyewear company after The Carrera Panamericana, a 7-day, 3,000-km vintage rally race across Mexico that was known as one of the world’s most dangerous races. The Carrera Panamericana captured exactly what he wanted to build: eyewear that pushes limits.
Seventy years later, Carrera is still doing this. From Porsche Design collaborations to the faces of Brad Pitt, Niki Lauda, and Rihanna, Carrera became the eyewear of champions.
