Scientist by day, competitive Strongwoman by night with a huge CV pinning her as the 3rd 'World's Strongest Woman 50+' ,
moonlighting as a powerlifter, going 9/9 and setting a new national record with all 9 attempts in July.

Alison is now currently ranked 2nd in the world in her division after her first and only WRPF competition.

This weekend, it all goes down at Big Dogs 5! Myself and the .barbell crew will have the privilege of seeing this man,
do damage on the platform at . Some of the team are already there, and I'll be joining them tomorrow. Excited, to say the least.

"Three weeks to go until we get to see the culmination of years of training and millions of comsumed calories come to fruition as powerlifting titan Elijah Schuurmans finally steps onto the platform for Big Dogs 5 at in Victoria.

It's an exciting time for all Tasmanian (and Australian) strength enthusiasts, no matter your discipline, gym, or federation, as we've all no doubt been itching to see this happen for years.

Elijah's entered the final stage of his training before tapering and rest leading up to the comp. Let's all get behind him and show some support for this phenomenon of strength.
