Join us for a free online Zoom session hosted by Carers Tasmania in partnership with Carers Australia. It’s a safe space where you can connect with other young carers, share experiences, and find the support you deserve.

The Justice and Equity Centre has released NDIS Insights 2025–26, a practical explainer for people with disability, disability representative organisations, advocates and legal practitioners working on NDIS matters.

The resource unpacks key developments and changes across the NDIS, including:

new NDIS supports lists

the introduction of funding periods in participant plans

the Thriving Kids announcement

reforms to provider regulation and oversight

It also examines emerging trends in Administrative Review Tribunal and Federal Court decisions, following a significant increase in reviews of NDIS access and funding decisions in 2025.

The NDIA will be delivering three different ‘Understanding the NDIS’ webinars throughout February

The second of these webinars will be on 'NDIS Self Management'

In this presentation they will cover:
• What is self-management?
• When can’t you self-manage?
• Tips for self-managing well
• Directly engaging staff
• Avoiding common mistakes

They will also explain recent changes to legislation and how they impact people applying to the NDIS
