💛 To anyone who has ever felt judged, dismissed, or overwhelmed on their health journey — this is for you. 💛
The word obesity can carry so much pain. For many, it’s not just a medical term. It’s a word that brings up memories of shame , blame , fear , frustration , or feeling like you’re not enough. And when you’ve tried so many times to make changes, and still feel stuck — it’s exhausting. 🧠💔
If you’ve ever felt:
💭 Anxious about going to an appointment
⚖️ Ashamed of stepping on a scale
🔁 Tired of hearing the same advice that doesn’t work
🫥 Judged before anyone truly listened to your story
Please know this: I see you 👀. I hear you 👂. I feel you 🤍. And I admire your strength more than you know. 💪✨
Your struggles are real.
Your emotions are valid.
And your journey deserves compassion — not criticism. 🫶
Over the past few days at the conference, I’ve been reminded again and again how powerful it is when we stop judging and start truly listening to people. Behind every story is someone trying — really trying — to feel better, to live with less pain, to find peace in their body , and to simply be seen for who they are.
I feel deeply grateful to have spent time learning from others who are working to bring more kindness, respect, and empathy into the way we care for people living with weight-related challenges. It’s been humbling, emotional, and incredibly inspiring. 🧡
And I want you to know — whether you’re just beginning to think about your health, or you’re deep in the middle of it — you are not alone. 🤝
You deserve care that honours your whole self — your heart ❤️, your mind 🧠, your body 🤍, and your story 📖. You are more than a number. You are worthy of respect, support, and healing — exactly as you are. 🌟
Thank you for allowing me to keep learning, growing, and walking this path with you. I am truly honoured. 💛
Xx Adeline ❤️
