Dr David Rosen Gynaecologist

Dr David Rosen graduated from the University of Sydney School of medicine in 1987. He trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at King George the Fifth hospital (now RPAH) and then undertook a 2 year Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynaecology at the Sydney Women’s Endosurgery Centre, a part of the St George Hospital. In 1998 he undertook further training in endoscopic surgery with Professor Chris Sutton in London, specializing in the treatment of severe endometriosis.

Dr David Rosen has established a Private practice specializing in gynaecology only as one of a handful of Australian surgeons trained in advanced laparoscopic surgery. Director of the Sydney Women’s Endosurgery Centre Excellence Programme. Director / Specialist Laparoscopic surgeon of the Sydney Women's Endosurgery Centre benign gynaecology Robotic unit, the first such unit in Australia.

Consulting suites are located at Kogarah, Bondi Junction and Macquarie University Hospital in North Ryde. Dr David Rosen has regular private operating lists at St George Private, Macquarie University Hospital and St Lukes Hospital, and is a Visiting Medical Officer at St George Public Hospital and the Royal Hospital for Women, Randwick, operating regular public outpatient clinics and conducting operating lists at which he supervises the training of Fellows, Registrars and Medical Students in his chosen discipline.
