The Quoll Digital Medical Pendant, the Quoll Digital Medi-tag and the Quoll Digital Medical Card are devices that when scanned will provide specific medical information to emergency services in seconds, anytime, anywhere. An individual Quick Response Code (QR) is allocated to each device and in the case of the Pendant and the Pet-tag it is etched into the back using laser technology. The Medi-tag is a permanent sticker that displays both the Caduceus and the QR code and can be applied to Children’s ID cards, school bags and key rings.

Spent an uplifting 2 hours this morning listening to Marie Louise Bone talking about how we can all help those in our community with Dementia.
It comes down to "Be aware that dementia exhibits differently in different people."
Just because someone is acting cranky or odd, they may not need medication but understanding and a soft response.
If the chance comes to attend a Dimentia awareness chat. Do yourself a favour and GO. You'll be glad you did.

“Had a nice chat to Rhonda, a customer who purchased a “Mate’ for her father.
As she could not get him on the phone she rang the ‘Mate’
To her surprise, an ambulance officer answered and informed her they were taking Dad to hospital on the advice of the doctor.
Although she was concern for her father’s condition she felt great comfort knowing that if she does call the SOS/Fall alarm, Dad can answer ‘hands free’ on the Mate.
Her Dad is back home and doing well.”

Anyone on the Sunny coast looking for an aged care or NDIS support organisation would go a long way to find better people than the ones at Glasshouse Country Care.
Their facilities are clean, open and spacious.
Case managers Rebecca, Karen, Gail, Shireen and NDIS manager Shomi were very welcoming and although they had demands on their time, they set aside an hour to learn about the benefits of the Quoll Mate.
Thanks also to manager Clair, who took the time out of her busy day to pop in for a chat,

In light of the recent Covid-19 Delta strain outbreak and restrictions, the Dickson Seniors Council and Minister Dutton have made the decision to postpone the Dickson Seniors Expo to Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th November 2021.

We're pleased to announce, the Dickson Seniors Expo for 2021 will be held on Tuesday 7 - Wednesday 8 September this year!

There promises to be more stalls, more services and things to do at the Strathpine Community Centre.

The Medi-tag is a permanent sticker that displays both the Caduceus and the QR code and can be applied to Children’s ID cards, school bags and key rings. Quoll devices can even be used to identify your pets and any health issues they have in case they get lost.

Use yours to maintain an up to date record of your health conditions, medications you take, next of kin contact details and blood type. It’s ready to show a health professional whenever you need it. It’s extremely simple to create your record and keep it updated and our servers - where your data is stored - are completely secure. You can add as much or as little information as you feel comfortable with sharing, in the event that someone has to scan your QR code and learn more about you in an emergency.
